Strong smell of toxic fumes from Shell and Petron refineries nearby.But to be fair - this place would have been a 5/5 otherwise. Everything works and is in good order. Front desk and security are really friendly too.For RM230/- a room on weekend - no other complaints.
Only if they knew what 4 STARS mean. Sigh! Booked it for 3 nights but I can barely live here for a night.
The room is quite large and suitable for a family (4-5 people). You can also see the sea, ships and airplanes. Some basic supplies are provided, such as irons, hair dryers, shampoo and body wash. Except for the old toilet, it is generally clean. The room is open-plan, so it is very inconvenient to change clothes. It is almost 6 o'clock in the morning, and you will hear the noisy birds waking you up to watch the sunrise.

Nice rooms but sadly it seems to be struggling at the moment. Certain features aren't currently active but you can tell they are trying their best.
The building quite old and have flaky walls. Maintenance should be upgraded and more frequent. Location so strategic because PD waterfront is just in walking distance. Closed by shop lots with a lot of popular eateries and supermarket too. ZUS Coffee, McD, Starbucks, Chagee, seafood restaurants, nasi kandar restaurants and so on
I booked a superior twin room and found many bed bugs, the room was quite dusty, and the area outside near the air conditioner had bird droppings that were not cleaned. After informing the hotel, they immediately gave me another room. Alhamdulillah, I’m very grateful and satisfied with the hotel’s action. Thank you for your excellent service!
- the room is quite ok. just can't hang out on the balcony because it's dirty and has a lot of bird droppings.- cold air conditioner.- the water channel under the shower is blocked. stagnant water while showering. - can hear noise from the next room.-most annoying, many mainland Chinese citizens during breakfast. Please note that some of them are very rude and disrespectful to the local people.- food was so so-many restaurants and supermarkets around
Soap and Hair Conditioner need to add some more. Need to add toothpaste and toothbrush too..
room was not properly maintained, but the location is very good, especially during new year, the celebration event is damn good
There were no rubbish bins out side of room or hallways, and the building was not kept up properly. The rooms are kept up and clean. The management promptly switched rooms after our water heater broke, but we still have a lot of stuff to repack for the new room. Wasted our time and energy for this malfunction. If you don't mind the dilapidated structure and some of the poorly maintained amenities, it's a fine place to stay overall.
There are a lot of restaurants at PD waterfront and it is walking distance from D’Wharf.
Hotel was good, new and clean. Lovely view of the sea from our room. Supermarket, DIY, KK mart, McDonald's, Starbucks and restaurants all within walking distance. Nice private beach but unfortunately not able to swim in the sea. Hotel/service apartments has a swimming pool for swimming.
Good location but definitely not worth the price. Horrible wifi. The building looks very rundown. Definitely not recommended.
The hotel itself for the price is value for money and rooms inside is clean but they have not maintained the balcony area. There are bird droppings on the balcony and on the glass especially at the air-conditioning unit. Really disappointed that the upkeep is not well maintained

The room is clean and somewhat quite spacious. Tho the aircon takes some time to get cooler. The view is nice, i think if u request another side of the building you could see the sunset(idk if u would do that or no, but i did request for it to be at a higher floor). But otherwise its great.It's very near to all sorts of shops, convenient and if you want to grab sth near by. Tho there's no beach, but you still can enjoy the sea and the wind by walking by the bay.(Not the most soundproof but durable)
This place is just ok. The building looks quite like old but overall is ok. But our host is the best!!
I hv to change from previous hotel bcoz of electricity problem on the day we check in... Instantly I try to find place n come across this place... Very fast response n friendly... House is cozy n comfy... Walking distance to beach n lots of shop around... Will repeat later when in pd...

G- L5 is their facilities and non staying places. After L5, 1,2,3.....10 which got me alittle confused to understand their structure. Also do note that there are north and south side, make sure you take lift from the correct swing.The condo doesn't look the most well maintained but the unit that we were in was facing the sea! It was very zen and nice for a simple stayAlso, this place is hyper near to the water front and eateries. Overall a pleasant experience

Had a very good experience of staycation there. Though the outside was a bit rundown. But good view of seaside from the room.Appreciate if they could extend the swim pool operating hours.The whole team was very responsive , honest & helpful to manage on my left belongings there for own collection.Very Great service team. The location nearby everything and walking distance. The room very small. The belcony was full of bird shit. One of the rooms aircond not working and the hall aircond was leaking. They don’t clean well either.the floor was rather dusty the hygiene was not clean. The wall have some plaster bagworm. The owner very rude. This was really spoiling my holiday mood😡
The whole building is so confusing! North and south isn't connected. Had to reorientate myself every time I'm trying to head to a place. Location is good, right in the heart of PD waterfront. Rooms and a bit tiny and dirty, dusty. Be prepared to have a swoop of dust on your hands when you enter into the room. The aircon needs to be serviced but I assume that there's not many people staying hence it is neglected. I'd say stay to enjoy PD waterfront but not the hotel. Pretty bumped as I couldn't sleep well, the bed was hard. The conference room has also poor lighting 😫 I expected better since its a 4 star rating hotel. Food was surprisingly above my initial expectation especially reading from the previous reviews on Google. Good thing that their car park is shaded and free of charge - but becareful of crows around that poop anywhere especially liking cars. I sincerely wish they maintained their rooms for a better stay in the long run.
Stayed at the South Block for 3 nights during the Deepavali weekend, with 3 adults and 2 kids at their Family suite.Room was spacious.View was nice - we had the seaviewAircon was strong and actually too strong for the bed in the living room.Bed very nice to sleep on.Housekeeping daily with fresh towels replaced daily too. But the floor so yucky after our 4 days.Has mini fridge and safe box in the apartment.Bad thing was the toilet.Very small and floor is slippery.Always flooded during use. Had to wait for awhile before the water goes down.Nobody watches tv since there are so few channels. Wifi was fine and everyone was on their own devices.Lift only got 2 serving all levels.Even their staff also uses the same lift for housekeeping. Cannot even tell which floor you are at, until the door opens. Can't even tell if the lift is coming while waiting for it endlessly.Happened to experience one of the lifts breakdown at night and the queue took awhile to clear.There are 3 Swimming pools. Almost always full of people.Location is quite good as there are 2 supermarkets around - Billion and TF.Mcdonald's is just across the building.There are also other fast food around. Halal options everywhere.But have to walk since each shop is one building away.There is a Regina Mall but super empty and few shop tenants in there. There is a bowling alley and KTV rooms.We managed to visit their weekend pasar malam. With non-halal food options.Aeroplanes flying by almost every 5 minutes. Sometimes even 2 planes at a time.We caught multiple fireworks during our stay due to Deepavali celebrations. It's like random gun fire.Nice and chill place to visit and stay.
Lots of rooms, wrong wing, floor and room number can happen. Anyway the room is clean and tidy.
Worth every penny spent.Nice location with all required amenities.Only concern is the elevator- takes several minutes to get one especially during morning to afternoon.They have a 4 storied parking along with basement parking. However, parking mostly remains full - you can now guess how popular the place is.
Nice view from my room. I got a sea view room. The surroundings of the hotel are strategic with a lot of nice places, very convenient, it is literally next to the PD Waterfront, so it is easily access to many eateries and sea view without driving.During our stay on a normal weekday it wasn't high occupancy rate so it added some creepiness especially at night.Need to improve :1) Room and the bed are not hygienic/dirty/too dusty. Bed also untidy. Room itself was also not sufficiently clean. Cleaners don't clean well either.2) Got the torn & messy towel.3) TERRIBLE building and design. Lobby/cafe and room very far. Need to walk to another building. The passage in the corridor is too dirty and blackened. This building design also weird and more are like hostel/low cost apartment. The inner building is definitely in need of repair. Signs of fungus on the walls indicate that it’s time for a fresh coat of paint.4) Lift service is so bad, too slow/super slow to wait. Plus lift are not well maintained. Lift sometimes working sometimes not working.5) Wi-Fi connection are very poor, cannot connect.6) Very limited television channel. So boring.The worst hotel that I ever stay. Disappointed!
The location of the apartment is very strategic. One thing to note is that the sound insulation may not be very good. Make sure to close the doors and windows at night
Strategic place. In front there is TF Value Mart, Mr DiY, Ai-Cha, PD waterfront, Chagee, Zus Coffee, Subway, memories coffee, mamak shop and so on. Very close and you can walk to the waterfront. D'Wharf is big but still looks quiet and the buildings are less attractive. For the room. There is only 1 room but it can fit 4 people
It's an average hotel, more like a basic homestay apartment. Don't expect a pleasant fragrance, relaxing ambiance, or comprehensive amenities. Anyway it's a decent stay.
Room, breakfast all good...but the swimming pool was not maintained well(at least during my period of stay)...dirty water if u ask me. A bit yellowish, the smell of chlorin was absence (can be good or can be bad, depends on opinions). Otherwise, could have been rated 5 star by us.
Clean room, cool aircond, room facing the sea, delicious buffet breakfast with many choices..staff always smiling..best service.
Amazing, the food,the beach and the staff. Very accessible to hypermarkets like Billion and TF just beside the hotel.Reef cafe delighted me a lot for their buffet, especially nasi goreng and beehon goreng..Stayed here for 2 days in room 11B before heading to KL..hope to visit Malaysia again. Thanks for the wonderful ecperience
Make sure the booking is under the hotel management ( check in at level 3) , not private people. They misleading the ads in agoda.
No private beach, we were chased out by the authorities of the jetty. You need to walk to the PD water front to enjoy the scenery or fishing. Lots of cafe, fast food restaurants and at night the place is quite lively. We booked the family suite which was spacious with adequate facilities that comes with mesmerizing view of the ocean from our room.Breakfast was ok, with tasty nasi lemak sambal. Overall this place didnt really dissapoint us although upon arrival i was sceptical about the whole building which looked a little bit run down. It needed a some paint work to spruce up the whole place. The gym was functional with quite a number of equipment that are essential for those who love to workout.
A wonderful day at PD , at D’Wharf Hotel , you also can find at AIRPLAN , they are very friendly , Not much to explain , i love the place and the see view , you can find everything around you , market and restaurant and see wahhhh , like a heaven , The most beautiful thing is enjoying the morning sunrise , for sure I will come back here again , thanks with love
The place so nice... Situated at strategic area bank, mall, food area. The view also nice.. Bfast as expected nasi lemak delicious..At night my room got toilet blockage call reception, operator, n housekeeping no ones answer us... We have to wait until water in the toilet reduce to use back.. Level 7 room no. 9A..Premier suite..
Great accomodation services, helpful security guards. Only disadvantages would be only 2 lifts serving, which is limited during peak time

The suit was consider clean and comfortable but the mattress so so only. We experienced a bad "neighbour" from next room as the ALARMS was start ringing from about 5am until 7am. The reception was off duty from night and only resume to work at 7am. Thus only get the issue solved after 7am. First time experienced not 24 hours receptionist Hotel.
We had a very pleasant stay at D'wharf hotel & residences managed by Airplan Management. Immediately after confirming my booking on Agoda, the Airplan team reached out to me to welcome us and provided us with all the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other necessary information. The SOPs and instructions on how to check in and check out were very detailed and easy to follow. We were particularly impressed with the room, which had two queen beds and a sofa. The highlight of the room was the view from both the bedroom and living room, as the bed faced the sea. Has a private beach & garden but were quite dirty with rubbish littering around here & there.
Poor Wi-Fi! The bed, sink, and toilet smell like urine! Will not come again! The only thing that works is to book a room with a view of the sea.

beautiful room. get a view of the sea at the waterfront. only the beach in front of the hotel is not allowed to bathe. I have to go to Batu 5 beach before I can take a bath. facilities in the room are ok. only aircond leaking for the 2nd day. make a report and within an hour maintenance and repair will arrive.overall everyone is satisfied. although the price is quite expensive. ordinary pool is not very good. here it is easy to find a restaurant. and close to shops.
The room was spacious. The toilet is not well maintained, you can see stained in the toilet. I was hoping for more cutlery/pinggan mangkuk cause sometimes you just want to stay in the hotel and makan makan in the room. The view is nice, not sea view but still nice. Good hotel if youre in budget
Definitely recommended place to stay! It is close to the tourist area of the city, and the scenery is not bad. The hotel management is also very dedicated in providing services. If there are problems, they will immediately provide solutions and have a very positive attitude.
Looks like a low cost run down apartment...2 elevator per tower... Lift access to parking on level 3 and above only.Weird design... But the facility level swimming pool is beautiful with nice layout.

The location is good. There are many restaurants and hotels near the hotel, as well as supermarkets. However, the facilities are a bit old and the swimming pool water is not very clean. I have been taking medicine for ten days for swimming ear inflammation.

Top notch security.The beach is very clean. It's just not safe to bathe because of the embankment area.But the elevator in the lobby wants to go up, please fix it. Inconvenient for guests with broken elevator buttons. Worry if left alone will affect the hotel's rating.
Super near to a lot of fast food and restaurant such as M*D, Kenangan Coffee, Chagee, Chairman Fried Chicken, and even Mamak (walking distance). Love that the swimming pool open from 7AM to 7PM. A lot of parking space.The lift is okay doesn’t have much problem as what others are reviewing. Even when I came during weekend. The pak cik guard is super kind too.
Room was great! However the cleanliness of the toilet/ bathroom needs improvement. It wasn't cleaned well n drain was clogged. Besides that the room was clean n comfy!
Can find from groceries ,fast food, local foods n shopping malls nearby. N juz walking distant to the beach. Luv tis place

Lift service is so bad, u may grow old waiting to get into the lift. Receptionist is rude. Easy access to basic needs. Maintained central wise, poorly maintain. Will rather stay somewhere.
Great swimming pool with spectacular beach views. The room is so spacious and has the fridge as well as the microwave. Very convenient except for its parking 🫣. Nevertheless, the breakfast provided is scrumptious and the staff was friendly. Love it and looking forward to stay here again this coming August.

We had a pleasant stay! The room was clean, and we can see the ocean from our balcony. Just a 3-5mins walk to PD waterfront. They have a private beach, fishing and campsite too!!
Booked the superior apartment. I expected the rooms to be on the smallish side but I was pleasantly surprised that it was so spacious and clean. There is a kitchen area that includes a water kettle, mini fridge and even a microwave. The view was great! The exterior needs a coat of paint though.Stayed during weekdays, so it's a bit quiet and spooky.Located very close to PD Waterfront so there is quite a variety of food options. The area is still developing so I expect it will be busy in the future. Overall, it was a great stay and definitely will come again.Tips: book directly with them for the best price.
The room is run down (cupboard drawer, toilet door) are malfunction. The sink is leaking. There's urine smell the moment I checked into the room. No hair dryer provided. The air con is not cold enough despite it shows 16°c and my room is not a big room either. Not sure about the hygienic of the bed, but my both hands were itchy the moment I rest on the bed.
Good place.Nice interior.Nice pool (two spacious pools for kids).Parking space (have many parking spaces and no need for an access card. Good if you come with more than 1 cars to stay).Private beach.But,Please put a mirror in the room (only have 1 small mirror in the toilet).The place is a bit tricky for the first timer (the staff at the reception are not explaining things properly and they did not register my access card at the correct tower 🫠).Please provide more plates and cutlery.Apart from that, I'm really satisfied.
The hotel was very modern and the rooms were amazing. We did not have a sea view but no complains as the room was very clean and the AC works very well.Staff was also very helpful in introducing Port Dickson to us.The hotel is located in one of the best locations, with a 24-7 arcade at the bottom, a lot of eateries around, great pier and nice supermarkets. If you walk a little further there is a nice kopitiam to go to for breakfast that sells great noodles.
Room cleanliness tip top and suitable for family with kids. Facilities well maintained and helpfulness staff. Even they have token games for relaxing mind.
Stay here for my birthday surprise. The private beach n garden were nice n very private.. Feels like i owned the beach to myself. At nite they are variety of foods on food truck. The area are well equipped with various of food chains n banks. My room were very clean n i can see partly town n sea.
Really enjoy our stay here. I have visited this place twice within 2 months. During weekend u can enjoy food trucks... Beautiful scenary. A lot of place to eat... Most just walking distance.
Stayed one night during a weekend. Small unit with balcony and fantastic view of the sea. Perfect for 2 persons only. Easy access to all sorts of eatery, there's a food truck park (with buskers) besides the building too. Clean and well kept. Friendly owner. Recommended!
